Guidelines for Families with Children

Seven Hills RSL Club is proud to be a family-friendly venue where children alongside their families are always welcome to enjoy our facilities. We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment for all our patrons.

To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone and to comply with the requirements of the Liquor Act, we have established the following guidelines.

RULES & GUIDELINES
Supervision  All minors (under 18 years of age) must remain in the immediate vicinity of their parent or guardian at ALL times. Leaving a minor unaccompanied on club premises is an offence under the Liquor Act.
Permitted Areas Children are allowed in the dining area and on the playground equipment, but only with parental or guardian supervision.
Curfew  Children are not permitted on Club premises after 11pm.
Restricted Areas Children are not allowed in or near the gaming room, level two of the Club, or tiled areas in front of the bar. In accordance with NSW liquor laws, minors are also not permitted to approach or receive service from the bar, including for water and soft drinks. We kindly request that responsible adults adhere to signage throughout the club indicating restricted areas for minors.
Footwear For safety reasons, all children are required to wear shoes at all times, except when they are in the designated kids’ play area. Shoes must be placed on the shoe rack located at the entrance of the kids’ play area when entering this space. Socks must be worn at all times while inside the play area to ensure hygiene and safety.
Use of Equipment Children must use the play equipment as intended. Climbing on railings, walls or furniture outside of the designated play area is strictly not allowed.
Appropriate Behaviour  We encourage children to play and have fun, but we ask parents and guardians to be responsible for ensuring that their children behave appropriately while on Club premises. Any disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in the family being asked to leave.
Noise Levels  Families are encouraged to ensure their children respect the personal space of other patrons, especially in quieter areas of the Club. Additionally, we kindly ask that noise levels be kept at an appropriate level to maintain a comfortable and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Unattended Children Under the Children & Young Persons (Care & Protection) Act, leaving a child unsupervised in the car park or near the car park is strictly prohibited.
Club Policies All families must adhere to the general rules and policies of the Club, including dress codes and conduct guidelines.

These rules and guidelines have been designed to prioritise the safety and well-being of children, support responsible supervision, and maintain a respectful atmosphere for all members and visitors to our Club.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
