Seven Hills RSL has recently donated a new Medical Transport Vehicle to the Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation and we are proud to announce that the FREE Medical Transport Service is now available to all eligible members.
The Foundation provides FREE Medical Transport services door-to-door Monday to Friday throughout Greater Western Sydney.
This FREE service assists people with essential medical requirements in particular the elderly and those with disabilities with direct transport to and from hospital and other health appointments. This service is provided in memory of Sir Roden Cutler VC and his efforts to help people with mobility issues similar to those he encountered after losing his leg during World War II.
To become eligible for the service you must meet the following criteria:
– Be on an Aged or Disability Pension.
– Must be for Medical purposes only.
– Be referred by a Medical Organisation staff Member/ Medical Practitioner or Social Worker.
– Be able to travel unassisted (Carer is required otherwise)
